Responsibilities of the Dispatcher:
- Receiving transport orders from customers and creating them in the operational system.
- Checking the activity of the drivers and the position of the trucks.
- Coordinating transport and routes, ensuring prompt delivery of goods to our customers.
- Monitoring the orders received from the customer until the moment of delivery and maintaining the relationship with the customers.
- Communicate effectively with drivers to provide real-time assistance and guidance.
- Managing crisis situations and resolving operational issues with professionalism and speed.
- Preparation of necessary reports and documents, maintaining an accurate record of daily activities.
- The permanent search for solutions regarding the optimization of transport costs.
- Database maintenance in the ERP system.
Requirements:
- Experience in a similar position is an advantage.
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills with attention to detail and the ability to make quick decisions.
- Flexibility and availability to work in shifts and weekend rotation.
- Team spirit and ability to work under pressure.
- Responsible, orderly, fair and serious.
- Knowledge: English, any other foreign language is an advantage.
- Advanced MS Office knowledge (Word, Excel, Outlook) and familiarity with transport monitoring and tracking systems.
- Sociable person, inclined towards identifying solutions;
- Ability to solve problems, communication skills, planning and organizing activities, team spirit.
