We consider ensuring the right to the protection of personal data as a fundamental Cartrans commitment, therefore we will dedicate all the necessary resources and efforts to process your personal data in full accordance with Regulation (EU) 2016/679 on the protection of natural persons in what concerns the processing of personal data and the free movement of such data (hereinafter “the Regulation”, “the General Regulation on the protection of personal data” or “GDPR”), as well as any other incidental legislation applicable on the territory of Romania.
Since one of the essential principles of this legal framework is transparency, we have prepared this document to inform you about how we process your personal data when you interact with us in relation to our products and services, including through the website our website or through the related applications available on your mobile phone.

Cartrans.ro is the commercial name of the online platform owned by Cartrans Preda SRL, Ploiesti, str. Marasesti no. 309, code 100238, Prahova county, registered at ORC Prahova under no. J 29 / 1894 / 1994, CIF RO 600034, tel. 0344 130,500. In the sense of data protection legislation, we are the operator only when we process your personal data, as shown below.

What categories of personal data we process
We generally collect your personal data directly from you, so you have control over the type of information you give us. We receive information from you in the following two situations:
- When you send a message through the contact form, you provide us with information such as name, surname, e-mail address, telephone number, as well as other personal information, insofar as they are included in the box dedicated to the personalized message that may be submitted by you. Even if we do not provide services for individuals, during your interaction with the site you will provide us with at least one category of personal data.
- When you respond to a recruitment ad through the platform, and upload a curriculum vitae, you provide us with information such as your name, surname, e-mail address, telephone number, as well as other personal information, to the extent that it is included in the box dedicated to the personalized message that you can send with your CV. CV including your photo, educational and occupational level, as well as name/surname, e-mail address, no. phone, the job to which the candidate applied, etc., as the case may be, are stored only for the period and for the purposes provided. Data in this category is stored on the platform for a limited period of 60 days and is accessible only to Cartrans staff and the platform manager in charge of its management and periodic data deletion.
The platform administrator, as an operator according to Regulation (EU) 2016/679, is responsible for fulfilling the main obligations regarding the processing of personal data, ensuring data security and adopting the necessary measures, as well as respecting the rights of natural persons, and is implicitly responsible for adopting their own procedures and policies in order to ensure their compliance with the requirements of the applicable provisions.
We may also collect and further process certain information about your behavior while visiting our website to improve your online experience. We invite you to find out more details in this regard by consulting the section regarding the purposes of processing below.
On our website we may store and collect information in cookies and similar technologies in accordance with our Cookie Policy.
We do not collect or otherwise process sensitive data, included by the General Data Protection Regulation in special categories of personal data. We also do not wish to collect or process data of minors under the age of 16.
What are the purposes and grounds of the processing
We will use your personal data for the following purpose:
- Cartrans can post open jobs for people interested in working in the Company. Your job applications, accompanied or not by a curriculum vitae, will include personal data and will be used to assess your suitability for the positions available within Cartrans, but also to be able to contact you for a job interview.

How long we keep your personal data
- Your CV and the data contained in it will be stored for a period of no more than 60 days from the expiry of the recruitment notice, but without exceeding a period of 90 days.
- You may request us to delete certain information at any time and we will comply with such requests, subject to the retention of certain information where applicable law or our legitimate interests require us to do so.
To whom we transmit your personal data
As appropriate, we may transmit or provide access to certain of your personal data to the following categories of recipients:
– marketing service providers who collect data about the online behavior of visitors and/or users of the platform to improve the browsing experience;
– IT service providers, who manage the platform and related technical infrastructure;

Currently, we store and process your personal data on the territory of Romania. If we transfer your data outside of Romania, we will expressly request your consent in this regard and we will indicate the purpose for which we will transmit this data as well as the rest of the information provided by the legislation in the field.

Identity. We take the privacy of all records containing personal data seriously. For this reason, please send us your requests regarding such records using the email address used within the site. Otherwise, we reserve the right to verify your identity by requesting additional information aimed at confirming your identity.
Fees. We will not charge a fee to exercise any right in relation to your personal data, unless your request for access to the information is unfounded, repetitive or excessive, in which case we will charge a reasonable amount in such circumstances. We are not obliged to comply with your request to delete your personal data where the processing of your personal data is necessary:

In accordance with the provisions of art. 17 paragraph (3) of the Regulation, there are certain circumstances in which we are not obliged to comply with your data deletion request, although these two are the most likely circumstances in which we could refuse your request

You can ask us to restrict the processing of your personal data, but only if:
- their accuracy is disputed (see rectification section), to enable us to verify their accuracy; or
- the processing is illegal, but you do not want the data to be deleted; or

- you have exercised your right to object and checking whether our rights prevail is ongoing.
